Our Services Can Help With

LIGHTEN-2color.png
  • Wellness & Prevention
The best defense is a good offense; getting ahead of injuries and optimizing your recovery between workouts is far more important than we typically think. Craving a good massage? You will feel "lighter" when you leave.
  • Running Injuries
Certified in Functional Biomechanics of the Lower Quarter through the Movement Performance Institute, I use motion capture video analysis to pinpoint and train areas of weakness, restriction, and altered motor patterns. Designed to restore optimal and efficient running form for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance.
  • Golf Rehabilitation
Titleist Performance Institute Medical level 1 and 2 certified. I use a golf movement screen combined with the SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) and knowledge of golf swing mechanics to streamline your recovery from: low back pain, hip injuries, wrist and hand injuries, elbow injuries, knee injuries, shoulder injuries, neck injuries, rib injuries, foot and ankle injuries.
  • Spine Conditions
Trained in the osteopathic approach to manual therapy for the spine as well as multiple courses through the Institute of Physical Art, neck and back pain are my passion! Excellent spinal rehabilitation is key to all movements.
  • Rowing Injuries
I am a World Championships silver medalist in the women's lightweight quadruple sculls. From many years of rowing training combined with many years of being a sports rehabilitation physical therapist, this is the place to come for your rowing rehabilitation and injury prevention!
  • Shoulders, Elbows, Hips, Knees, Feet and Ankles
Improve joint mobility, increase the strength of the core muscles of that joint, and restore the optimal movement pattern. Your sessions are always 1:1 with me to get every detail right and in the least amount of time away from your activity.

Patient Stories

"I'm a former collegiate runner. After my c-section earlier this year, Rachel helped me get back to running. Without her, I would be continuing to fight back, knee, IT band, and plantar fascitis pain. I cannot recommend her highly enough."
